but yea I will let u know how much it is right after harvesting.

but lets say I weigh it and it says 500g... now I will need some math right?

500/100 * 75 = 125

if its wet 500g then it will be dried around 125g? am I right? :-o

Your answer is right but your equation is written wrong. I think you meant 500/100 * 25 = 125. You could also do that like this 500 * .25 =125

If you live in Nevada you may harvest semi dry buds allready because of your states humidity. Oregon or Washington on the other hand they may be very juice unless you have a dehumidifier in your grow room. Location an conditions will allways make the results differant.

how much weight do the buds lose with drying? roughly.. from fresh to "dry".

does anyone know? Im interested :) mabey I can predict the "dry" weight just by weighing it right after harvesting.

thanks
Hey bru.. I'm thinking that the bigger the yield, the less you'll realize.

If one harvests 400gr, first trimmed, they would probably end up with 70-75% (100-125 gr dried & cured).
Reason: more carefully trimmed and trimmed less because there is less to begin with: it would also be smoked sooner and wouldn't have as much time to dry out.. we're all eager to 'try a little piece"..

If one harvests, let's say, 4000 grms...well I've never done a 4000 gr grow but 2000 was a PITA trimmin. Less able to trim carfully.. too wacked to see straight.
And it will probably be around longer.. it doesn't stop drying out.

I use 20% of the wet, after the first trim (large & medium fan leaves), weight.

If I miscalculate (<how do you spell that word?) and there is more at the end, I'm even happier..:joint:
