I have some young seedlings and I was wondering how much to water them? I have been told a rule of thumb when watering was to water until u see water coming out the bottom of the pot. But I thought this would be too much for souch young plants, and I no the most common cause of death for newbies is over watering. Check my grow journal for pics, if anyone can help I would really appreciate it

Hey geronamo

Letting the water run out of the bottom of you pots is a good way to water, just be sure to let the soil dry out properly before watering again.
Roots need oxygen to grow and overwatering (too frequent) will drown them.
A good rule of thumb is insert your finger into the soil to check if its dry enough. I use the weight of the container to tell and that works fine for me.
Put a link in your signature to your grow so others can see it also.

For a 10 litre pot, how many litres of water would I give? I want to be really accurate.

I cut an x on the bottom of a 12oz plastic cup (do not use a clear cup) fill it with FF Ocean Forest. I water it every morning gently and stop when I see water coming out of the bottom. I found that works for me.
