they have the growth spurt if ther first few weeks of flower and then slow down and energy is used towards bud production unless uu have a sativa which will grow a bit longer

i know this is an old thread but i hope some one will still and answer my question.
during the growth spurt, GeeTee was talking about, do they create many more leaves (get bushier)?
the are a indica dominant strain LSD
because my grow space is very small i fear maybe a bit too small but i have no where else to do it, but i still want a half decent yield.
for instance if i put it into flowering at around 8 inches would it still give a decent yield?
Cheers

At 8"...hell yes! They should be transitioning for the first 3-3 1/2 weeks of flower. All transitioning means is "still growing". Also, it's funny how we call the stage before they're put into flower (12/12) the veg stage. If you ask me they hyper veg in the first three weeks of flower. If I put them in the room at 8" , by the time they're done with the transition phase they are about 3' sometimes more. Take into consideration that I run low pressure aero with 6x600w in a 72 sq. ft. room. The transition phase growth depends on conditions and strain tendencies. For instance, sour diesel stretches like a mofo no matter what the lighting scenario or growing method.
