How much space in flower is optimal for indoor?

So I feel like I've been packing my room too full. Hard to get in there and examine much less rotate them. So I'm thinking about culling two or three. I'm just looking for so20220501_195559.jpgme advice on how close in proximity can I put my plants without causing stress? Pic of them, just after or at the end of stretch.20220501_195601.jpg

How much space depends on how much light you have. If using LEDs. 30-40 watts per square foot does well. If your light is enough to light the area leave them packed in there. They don't mind. I'd just strip and scraggly growth under the canopy once they are done stretching.

My bad I should have put that in there. I've got all hlg quantum boards. I'm pushing every bit of 1,000 ppf at canopy right under 1000w in a 5x5.

I was doing 18 in a 5x9, 9 plants per half of tent. Yield was ok but the plants looked shitty, 9 per half was to much imo. Cutting back to 6 per half, 12 plants total.

That looks like a window rattler on the right side of the picture there. That almost gives some scale to the picture. That looks like about a 2x3 foot floor space. Also looks like a single source of light above the center of the canopy. Where's the grow tent and quantum boards because that can't be 1kw lighting up the middle of the canopy and that looks like a textured wallpaper on the wall there.
