How much Power

Ok i went out today and bought all new fuses they are the breaker type , and a surge protector.

that will help you sleep

The surge bars are basically a joke. All they are is MOV. They wear out anywhere from 6 months to a year with no indication.

Line conditioners are a different story. but figure roughly $100 per 400W

A MOV is a Metal Oxide Varistor.

You don't need a line conditioner. Its meant for more delicate equipment (ie: audio & medical mainly, computer, video, etc.) They are used to clean up the AC power, long with absorbing the surges and sags. (sags are worse the surges)

And new fuses? Like old fuse are worn out and weak? LOL. Breakers get weak after too many trips. Also breakers trip via magnetic and/or thermal overloads.
