How much PH down to use

Hi guys,

Not sure if the PH meter that I have is accurate or not.

My water before adjustment is about 7.6

Could anyone tell me if there is a formula to work out how much PH down to add to a 5 liter bottle to get the PH down to 6.0

I'm adding about 3 ml to get to this result but someone from a similar area only adds 0.75ml per 5L although they do not measure the Ph at all.

nope. add whatever it takes to get to the pH you want. after awhile, you'll see it will be roughly the same amount but it can always vary.

how does your friend know what the pH is if not measured?

Like mentioned above how does your friend know unless he's measured at least a few times and is confident in the water sorce being the same every time .........just add it slowly until you get it where you want it .......just curious what are you growing in

Dilute 1ml of PH down with water in a separate cup/jug, then keep adding it in 2-4-8ml amounts to your feed water, stir your water and watch ph. voila ;)

P.S. This is for 2 litre jug :)
