How much & often should I water this?

I got the miracle gro 15-30-15 and it says to use a gallon of water with 1 tbl spoon of the food but by the looks of it a gallon would be way to much water for this one plant.

Can anyone recommend how much I should water it with how much of the food? And I water it every other day so I assume thats ok too

1 gal. does sound like too much. how often do you wated?maybe go 1/2gal + 1/2tsp. nukes. good luck.

feed every other watering,,,and do a little less than it says on box,,and work ure way up to full strength,,,also the plant seems real lanky and weak,,,,it probably isnt getting alot of direct light,,,is that a patio????

I tried 4 litres which I think is half a gallon lol and the 1/2 tbl spoon or nukes, but even the 4 litres seemed to much

and yes its my balcony. I'm on the 3rd floor of a 3 floor building and only get like maybe 4-6hrs light a day

Hey man,

I just got some good watering advice-- if you let the soil dry out, your plant with expand its roots more to search for water, therefore producing a better plant, that grows larger. Basically, waiting 3-4 days b/w waterings seems decent. Only water once the soil dries out.

As for the fertilizer, I would use less if your plant hasn't been given fert. b4. like 1/2 a tbl spoon per gallon instead. As for how much water-- use your judgement, def don't need the whole gallon one shot- just enough for the water to reach all of the roots. So jus mix it up, and set it aside. That will prob keep you going for a bit.
