how much nutrients does everyone use?

I run an EC of 2.0 - 2.2.

Thing is, you could have a lower ppm mix thats got too much nitrogen and still get burn. So it's not just about PPM it's about what the PPM is made of. With a proper balance of nutrients you should be able to feed at 1000 - 1100 PPM without issues.
I think my biggest issue is definitely nitrogen, I know during flower I was doing okay with higher amounts, but suddenly I’m having crazy issues.
I use advanced mostly now, I think it reads a bit lower than other lines. To me its seems softer or gentler on the plants if that makes sense. Generals may read a bit higher on the meter.
Oh, and I’m talking ppms on top of your base water
alright I’ll have to experiment a little bit, I use ro water cause my water is a little to hectic so it takes my ppm to as low as 5; maybe I was using too much cal mag tho

With <10 PPM RO water I always start building my feed with 5 mL per gallon of calimagic. I like the calimagic because it has less nitrogen than the other cal mag products I have used. Thats just to replace the minerals that should be in the water. When I switched to using my tap water (180 PPM) I learned that I need just a hair over 2mL per gallon of the calimagic to prevent calcium deficiencies and I use a third of a gram of epsom salt per gallon for the magnesium. This has worked very well with my tap water and GH flora three part. So I look at the calcium / magnesium as just getting the water right. Then I start adding my base nutrients, they also bring some added calcium and magnesium so I need to keep that in mind when determining how much calcium and magnesium we are adding.
