How much nutrient needs to be in ro water before ph meter is accurate?

I know it's not good for the ph probe, to put into ro water. I'm going to be watering some seedlings soon, with 0.2 ec water. 0.2, imo, isn't much more than 0.0. Is it safe to ph meter 0.2?

The pH meter is either accurate or not. The sample being measured does not influence the performance.

Measuring ro is just meaningless because if has no impact on soil pH.

I have a cheap Ph meter. I calibrate by comparing to the drops. I also use litmus ribbons if things look strange. I have used my Ph meter in RO water, but that stuff still has an 8-18 ppms.

At 0.0, there's no ph buffer, so ph is unstable, and meter readings would be inaccurate, no?

Yea, so at low ec levels, strips may be a better option?

Not supposed to store in RO you can check whatever you want

Ok, sounds legit. Do you know if 0.2ec solution, will be enough to get an accurate reading with a ph meter?

The reading is accurate, if the meter is accurate. The measurement is just meaningless.
