How much more heat does a 600 watt put out compared to a 400

i guess my question is would it be to hot for my 48x48x78 grow tent i have a high power fan cooling it then 1 small fan venting it out

i alredy have a 400 watt and it is just fine for the space but i would like to up grade to a 600 watt at some point

I know I can run 2 x 600 in the space of a 1000 n my temps don't change at all, but I have very Gus airflow and exhaust setup.

i know 1000 watts would be to much in my space of 48"x48"76" but would a 600 watt be much hotter than a 400 watt

in my room m8 it tipped th scales from a borderline 28.c to a too hot 31.c but if u gt a cool tubed 1 which aint much more expensive then i reckon u be ok, i went and bought cfls and they jus as hot , so go wit cool tube m8

You are in luck. I just happened to have swapped my 400 HPS for a 600 HPS an hour ago. 400 HPS = 82 deg F. 600 HPS = 88 deg F.
This is with all conditions staying the same, but the light moved away 6 more inches.
It's a small closet and the reflector is air cooled.

it can get pretty warm as is with the 400 watt but i just run the ac on the lowest setting and it keeps everything around 80F

i just think after harvest i need to get my electric bill paid up and over 500$ that way i shouldent have to worry about it till the next harvest
