what strain? looks like it's got time to go yet, although it's almost impossible to tell one thing from another, just looks a bit hairy maybe.

mmm to be honest ,the "guy" said it was cherry bomb, but idk.Looks pretty dank though. Half of those hairs are orange and i plan on getting something to check out muh crystals within the next few days. It is quite hairy though .The plant is starting to weigh down pretty bad too..especially when i change the water, the shit starts to lean...its a scary 5 minutes ..lol

haha, well regardless of strain, you should be waiting till about 8-9 weeks, sativa's can go on longer than this of course, but an average minimum, but good call on getting a scope of some sort.

Well i gots another question, when using flora nutrients, is the "ripen" stage required or can i go aggressive bloom the whole way till the end? i was also wondering if i should stop giving it nutrients 2 weeks before or less than ?

if its indica dom...... then you have 2 weeks to go thats if you start counting from when you got your first hair and not when u first went 12/12.... you got to consider the 1 week transition time.... that being said if its sativa dom you have 5 weeks....... but always go by the trich head color and cloudy to amber ratio a good one is 80/20...... hope i was helpful.

breeders actually state their flowering times as of flipping to 12/12 and not from when you see hairs.

what ripen stage? i put them into 12/12 and give them food as directed on their bottles. now i'm using hydro, 3 days prior to harvesting i'll use plain water in the tank. other than that i do not know of a ripen stage, not to say there isn't one, but i've never encountered reason to know of it. this might just be the period where the buds start to fill out with weight, not sure.

i guess the ripen stage would be around 3 weeks till harvest. totla guesswork, i just know that PK 13/14 is for use 3 weeks before ahrveswt, so could quite posbily be that this is the ripening stage, would make sense based on other fruits etc.

***PROVE IT*** ..... where did you learn that or did you just hear it from the grape vine..... a web site will be nice....
search it. growers have emailed the breeders over this very argument on countless occasions, and got responses saying that flowering times were worked out from flipping to 12/12

here is one reply from GHSC that i quickly pulled off rollitup.

Dear XXXXXXXXXXXXXX,

Thank you for your email.

You start counting from the moment you switch the light to 12/12. The
flowering time depends on which strain you are growing. If you completed the
flowering weeks and the hairs are still quite white you can leave them a bit
longer. When 20-30% of the hairs become brown they are ready.

Kind regards,

GHSC

as far as i'm aware, i flowered dinafem cali hash for the reccomended time, from flipping, and it worked out just perfect. i've not personally emailed every company out there, but it would make sense, especially for minimizing confusion, could you imagine how many new growers would be emailing them asking "so is this flowering now, do i start conuting now? tomorrow? a week?" etc
