i usually end up waiting till i have 100% orange hairs before i ever check with a loupe. and then i wait 2-4 weeks after the hairs changed before the entire plant is down. tops, then middle, then bottoms.
it can make the buds go hard and swell and the leaves yellow slowly a higher dosage can kill the leaves fast and make the bud swell then start to dry and cure when you cut that stuff down you can dry it in 3 days or so and its closer to 10/20 cured bud, but you`ll yield a bit less
but like 300mg to 2g per gal will in most plants start the bottom leaves yellowing and the top bud gets harder and swells a bit more, just gotta give it once or twice not something you need to give the plant over and over just once or twice normally sets them off
