Just want an idea of how much longer. There's amber in the buds but think a few more weeks? Blue dream fast flowering strain. Grown outdoors.

You want all the white hairs to have turned dark and curled in, plant will slow way down on water consumption, leaves will show signs of senescence(think trees in autumn), and trichs on calyx's are all cloudy with whatever % of amber you prefer....in the coming weeks buds are going to fatten up and become potent. It may shoot some fresh white pistils also...that's a sign she's getting fat and finishing up.

Thanks, flipped them 12/12
3-4 weeks ago. I'm thinking another 3-4 weeks maybe. So they have been in flowering stage for 4 weeks. Actually planted them last week of April. Didn't start flowering to mid July. A little bit after the summer solstice. 10 weeks in veg state. I guess dats a good thing from what I read and hear

They’ve got a while yet…..I’d be surprised if they are anywhere close to finished and ripe in a month. Only one way to find out…..so check back in we can take a look.

This is a great reply, the fresh pistils for me is something ive just noticed happening on mine its something i never new to look for, so my last plant i realise now, was chopped too soon, nobody mentions that part from what ive read

Where did all your leafs go? Those are energy for the plant, keep em on next time
I feel this is a mixed opinion based on the grower.
I've asked about trimming fans and have received mix replies from people on here but every article from anyone online states to trim them so they don't suck the energy because after bidding starts fan leaves are not the energy producers anymore. The smaller secondary leaves are the power leaves for budding stage.

But I do think the plants in the photos would do better with more sun. The bud look airy and loose from not enough sun.

Ok here is what happened. There is a reason why I have 2 plants this year. I bought 3 but 3rd one did not grow.
So I figured plant them a week apart so if I mess up the first one I can try and correct it with second one.
I also have read mixed reviews about fan leaves.
My First intention was to trim them early flower like 1-2 week.
What happened was that I was REALLY high and started with the yellowing fan leaves. An hour later it was a bunzia bush.
Buds are filling out nicely (I think)

Sorta filling out

10 weeks veg , that plant should be 8 ft. Tall. Maybe try it next time with leaves.1000007210.jpgThis one is about 8 weeks old.

Your plant is fine….it has enough leaves to finish strong as long as it has the correct environment.
The buds in the close up pics have some time left….weeks not days. The pistils should all turn brown and recede (curl up). The buds should see a noticeable swell where the calyces plump. After the swell, u should be close within a week or two.
