How much LED light can a plant handle?

I am testing out how much LED light a beautiful baby can handle. I have been stepping up light over the past 2 weeks since i switched to 12/12.

day 1 started with 400w cob
day 4 added 200watt LED panel
day 8 added 150 watt LED panel
Day 13 added 120 watt LED panel

so far shes thriving. Single plant in 3x3 coco drinking a gallon for breakfast and another gallon and a half for dinner.

how much can she handle? I plan on slapping in another 400w cob in a few days once she adjusts to the current level of light.

when does light burn set in?

you'll probably run out of head room for lights before you can reach a burn potential.

i just tied them all back down a bit to spread them out as best i can.

Genetics,health & environment type play a big role with a plants maximum ppfd.

You are somewhere around 450-500w actual draw yeah? That's not bad at all in a 3x3 with those chips, may want to keep an eye out if you end up adding more.

Do you think he or she is a little too close to the plants? I think minimum 18 inches away. I might move them up a bit.

yes, i agree
but i wasn't talking about height above plants when i mentioned head room. i was referring how much wattage you can cram into 9 sq ft.

Get a par meter and a few more lights and let us know.I mean you can get led and fluorescent pretty close but not mh/hps.I don't know if I'm understand your question.you can lower lights to get more intense light.led are supposed to be fairly close.if you get to too much it'll start bleaching leaves etc.probably tell too that the soil drys quicker.obviously heat and electric bill goes up.I think you need to get the best and most light possible to get healthy girls with nice buds.get a light intensity meter and check it.really only way to tell all over area.can get cheap and their pretty accurate.hope this helps.also different light spectrums help in my opinion and what I've read.and that's substantial.lol

No 871 actual draw. see pic I took of wall wattage meter.

I've been moving the lights up every few days, I will run out of rooms eventually
adding another 400 actual watt panel this evening. another 4chip cob

Hello, I usually just look around on roll it up. But, I figure wth and chit chat about led's. I have 2 450w LEDS and I have a plant per light. the lamp is less that 12 inches away. I will post a pic when I get home. These 2 ladies have had these lights completely dedicated to them since the veg cycle. They are almost ready and I can't wait.

The question is not how much she can handle., Rather how much you're wasting., For a sigle plant 300 watts of actual watts its normally enough..

Growmau5 had a video about 6 months ago on youtube where he was testing one of his fixtures and he said it was too much lt causing bleaching. She or he seems to have more than enough lights. She just has to watch the heat, water them, watch for bugs and just be patient.

I have a 440cfm exhaust fan pulling through a carbon filter. I have the boot In place in the ceiling to hookup a 6" exhaust to my return on my central air, had to do it for another tent hoping I don't need it for this one.

and yeah, as I have increased the light i have heavily increased it's watering, aswell as changed up my feeding to spread nutrients out over 3 gallons instead of 1

Actually you do not have 2 450W led's. You have 2 200W leds, that is the actual wattage of those Viparspectra 450's.

lol those viparspectra are glorified space heaters they produce a heck of a lot more heat than traditional hid lighting and a lot less weed.

I ran with two viperspectras on my last grow. I don't believe it's anything greater than any other light in that price range
