How much is here?

Well After tarping my 2 6' tall Sour diesel plants last night I woke this morning to them being dry but I guess the wind was to much for 3 of my branches on the back of the plant they were snapped so I took them and harvested the bud the Tricombs are all cloudy with a few amber I wanted to wait till next week end to harvest the plants so gonna let em go only harvested these 3 branches and I am very happy the nugs are heavy and smells wounderfuly strong my whole garage stinks LOL.

Anyway this is my first grow so the first time I harvested/trimmed the buds I was woundering if anyone could look at the pic and give me a questament of how much is here. I have tons more on my plants I will harvest next week-end.

its hard to tell because your picture has no object for size reference. probably around an ounce maybe a little less if you just started to dry

Thanks your right I should have put a lighter in the pic but its more like 5-6 oz. I wieghed a couple of the better buds and they went like 16-18 grams so I am thinking half that in grams after drying out.

If I remember, the general rule of thumb is that you're going to end up with about 1/5th the weight once dried. But now I'm not sure and I can't remember what thread I read the approximations in. fdd would know for sure.

yeah what seamaiden said, about 1/5th. to me that looks like it will be about an ounce dry, 1 and 1/2 if your lucky. did you weigh it with the stem on it? stems are fairly heavy. i hate seeing my buds shrink so much when they are drying. some close ups and beside a lighter would be nice.
