How much does insullation really help?

Im growing in the attic and the temps sometimes reach 100, in the attic, during the plants night cycle. The temps in the grow room have gone to 91. If i insulate the room and have 73 degree air being pulled into it, how much will the insullation help, because right now pulling the cold air into the room isn't enough to fight the hot air in the attic.

It will make a big difference, also use an air barrier to minimize air transfer between the conditioned and unconditioned areas.

Insulating a room works the same way as wearing a coat "insulates" you from cold weather. The coat works by conserving your "warm" body temperature - instead of just letting it drift away!

Insulating a room lets you conserve the 73 degree air you are drawing through it, as much as possible!

I can't give you an exact number of how much difference it would make - but it would be "A Hell of a lot!".
