How much do you water - Drip irrigation

Simple question right?

Started building a drip irrigation system and sizing my final reservoir when it hit me that I have metrics for heat/humidity/power usage/lighting schedule BUT I haven't ever tracked my watering.... I just do it by hand based on current soil moisture levels/how the plants look.

Does anyone track their watering in depth? I'm figuring roughly 4-5 gallons every 2-3 days in my 5 gallon cloth pots with FFOF (mostly) at my plants current size, maybe every day or every other day once they get bigger.

Its a very simple question. You use 4-5 gallons per 5 gallon pot every 2-3 days?
I've always aimed for 20-25% of pot size for watering and is usually around there to achieve a bit of runoff.

Let your plants dry out to and measure how much water until you get runoff. Then you will have a rough amount to adjust your watering from.

Sorry no, I use 4-5 gallons for my tent every 2-3 days. 6x 5 gallon pots so a little under 20%.

So if you know how much your using then what are you trying to figure out? How much each plant gets per day?
Let's say you use 5 gallons every time for 6 plants. Thats 3 liters and 150 ml every 3 days per plant, so 1050ml a day. You could spread that out to 2x 500ml feedings 2x a day or more feedings if you want. Is that what your after?
