I've been taking Nabilone (synthetic thc) for a bit now. Pain specialist recommended it (was already taking painkillers.
Anyhoo, it's got decent effects but seems to stay in the system too long.
It's very different than smoking, more like a medible just not as good.
Overall it's helping me though I would prefer to be able to afford to blaze at will.
I have to wait a bit to get there.
Thing is, I've heard a lot of mixed responses about Nabilone from other pain sufferers.
It's helping me but I notice that it has this similiar effect as an anti-depressant (won't take them but did years ago and they sucked for me).
What I'm referring to is a flattening of emotions, feeling slightly 'zombified' if you will.
Maybe something similiar happens to some long-term high volume smokers a la Klite?
Just a thought.
I really wish they would just systematically study cannabinoids and sus out all the goodness in it.
