I think to really make the big dollars, you must be A) connected to the right people B)Not be afraid of Jail. I had a friend who went big, 30plants every 3 months and was living large for 3 years, when the DEA got him and then he spent some time in Jail while losing his house, cars, etc. Big rewards=big risk! I say keep it small and stay off the radar, you can still make a decent amount and not be too at risk.

My greatest joy in growing is having good weed with out having to deal with dealers. If you invest 500-1000 in equipment and good seeds, learn to grow and clone, that investment will pay for itself many times over. I mean ounces of quality buds are sometimes 500 dollars. I have 9 girls growing right now that I know I will get a minimum of 1 oz off each one. But the buds are all for me, and a few holiday gifts to friends and relatives. Now if I wanted to I could make a couple of grand off some of it, but that violates the reason I grow in the first place!!

Dude I don't care about your reasons for growing...please read the question that I raised at the beginning of the thread. If you grow you're doing something illegal. There is no difference between growing for yourself or for others, except you earn cash instead of a high.

Yeah, im not trying to be your mom over here. Cause ive done it myself. In high school, I made 700 dollars one week and never got caught.
I was the middle man though, thats the thing you wanna look for when you selling. Dont be the dealer that throws out for everyone. Stick to the middle man, id go to the city were people did weight (buy 3 get 1 free type of thing). Brought it back and sold O's to the ones looking to deal it.
Knowing your customer is crucial. If you choose my method you can never hold shit on you unless your doing a deal. By that I mean dont keep it in your room either. If you get raided which is likly you dont wanna be caught with "mad ganja".
Also, if you intend to grow and sell make sure your cultivation equipment is either discarded, destroyed, or stored away seperatly. You dont need a cultivation charge aswell.
If your tight on cash and you find it nessacary dont grow, thats not worth it. Extra felony if you get caught and it takes awhile. Just buy weight then deal it out small loads.
The most important thing for me when dealing is don't do it for the money. Well then whats the point? Good question, but the money should be secondary if your just trying to load the bank your gunna get caught. Cause that extra 60 bucks is gunna sound good. WHAM then your bagged, now what? No bail money cause it was all confiscated.
My overall thing to say is when you deal PLAN ON GETTING CAUGHT. Dont plan to get away or how to stay under the radar. Start primarily with what will happen then how to avoid it. Also dont take anythign for granted.
i.e. One thing I would do which i dont know how smart it really was but when people would ask for a drop. I would get the money and have them grab the stuff themselves without personally handing it to them. Or id give some kid 10 bucks to go give it to them. Things like that which were little precations because I was thinking if its a set up or whatever I cant be caught in the act or physically caught doing it.
Wasn't the best example or idea for that matter, but keep in mind i was only in high school younger and dumb, undertaken by the biggie smalls, tupac, young money, get money themes.
But it does show that I was thinking and I never did get caught so who knows it might have paid off.

Its cool.. we probably just took it the wrong way... shit like this does hurt peoples movments towards decriminilizing and making marijuana safe for patients to access... but we all have to remember that the #1 people that want marijuana to stay illegal is the drug dealers themselves... lol... we all have been hooked up in the past by people like this guy when we needed smoke....go easy on the guy... he just wanted to know $$$... like others pointed out... i beleave that is against the forum rules... and if that is the case, cause it can get the site shutdown by some asshole... then i say close this thread ... ban this guy cuase he was told and he basically says that "its ilegal to grow so why cant he break the rules here"... disrespectfull piece of shit.

But when it comes down to it, its stupid. You dont make shit for money. Yea maybe in high school your cool cause you got a 100 dollar bill in your wallet but that aint shit in reality. You wont have alot of customer once your out of school.
Youd need to make a profit of over 250 dollars just to hit a 6 figure job. And you aint ugnna be selling 250 dollars worth a day.
Youd make just as much a year as working in a 7/11 cleaning up shit for minimum wage.
PLUS its morally wrong and ethically degrading. Not to mention your image will be shattered. And the probablity of going to jail is extremely high.

i am not growing fifty packs....nor am I Mr. Rollitup....however I totally disagree with you holmes....
I feel like you are envious of the carebear's ability to dream of an alternate reality, and have the wherewithall to chase it. Don't spout useless tidbits like "ethically wrong", "morally degrading", and "image shattering" without backing them up. I grow weed to smoke, and the extra I take donations to cover costs....I am providing medecine to people who are sick!...and I feel damn good about providing relief. Maybe thats wha the carebear intends too. I am not stigmatized among my peers, because none of them are narrow minded enough to judge me based on being a farmer/caregiver. And the only image that needs shattering is the one that makes someone tell another to forget about their dreams haranging them with discouragement.
