How much do brown pistils shrink before harvest ?

Majority of pistils on my main cola are amber/brown but from images of most harvested buds the pistils have shrunk considerably obviously the curing process will have an effect but I'm wondering will the shrink alot more than they currently are

wanting to see the answer as well.

It's strain/pheno dependant, I done some white widow recently one was covered in brown pistols and the other 90% receded into the calyx.

A picture under normal lightning would really help others really help you!
