How much did your first grow yield?

Ok this is pretty much an open question, you can leave suggestions, especially if they pertain to nutrients is coco, lighting, super cropping etc. I just wanna know how some people did on their first grow and any tips and advice you have to offer. Thanks :]
 
shit.... like close to an oz from 2 bagseed Mexican plants grown under a 4 foot duel t12 floro. tube and 2 small 20 something watt cfls....
 
2 plants 12/12FS Under a 96w T5HO 2 gallon containers soil. Harvest WAY Too early and got about a 1/2oz. Second grow was about an ounce.
 
first grow was blue venom in a bubler 400 hps 3weeks 24/0 then flipped for 9weeks 5oz only pinched stems as was gettin big
 
30 girlz,FFOF soil & FF bi bloom,grow big,tiger bloom,open sesaeme, snow storm ultra, gravity. 4 1000 hort. duel arc's ,topped once........= 7 1/2 LB.s ohhh, silver pearl&dumpster
 
2 plants SCROG ( OG GHOST KUSH ) 4 WEEK VEG / 9 WEEK FLOWER UNDER 1000W IN BUBBLE BUCKETS 8.5 OZ.....looking back it had to of been pure luck

my first was a success 2.5 pr plant yet second was shit and less did exactly the same apart from spider mite on third go now doing really well 4 weeks into flower what nutes u using ?
 
3.5 oz...but one plant had rot, one plant got dwarfed by the others and 2 c99 stretched like CRAZY ...
this grow will be all the same variety and scrog'd
 
My first ever plant was a bagseed that pulled almost an oz and a half but much of it was lost to bud rot that developed inside out on the biggest buds.
So the learning continued
Air movement IS critical ( especially in an old city basment growroom)
Humidity is also critical
Lights--More specifically the amount of penetration throughout the plant. The more power you throw at it, the deeper it will penetrate.
A canopy as even as can be possible
LST DOES increase yields.
Overwatering is easy to do yet easy to correct
Over-nutrients is also easy to do but much harder to correct its damage,
More is not always "more"

....stuff like that there for starters ! :)

My 1st grow was using cfls in a closet of my old apt building using no odor control or vent except a fan. Stunk up the whole place for months & ended up with a 1/2 oz of hay smelling shit weed that was gone in 2 days. My most recent harvest was 400w DWC which yielded 6 oz of manicured Dutch genetics plus several g of hash & extracts. I've come a long way baby
 
2 AK's from serious seeds (supposedly ;) ) netted me 2.5 oz from one, and 3.5 from the other.

More than adequate for my personal needs, and I was very pleased.

THANK YOU GROWERS for putting up all the knowledge that you do concerning cultivation. Y'all got me growin' veggies and shit too...
 
Our very first grow was in the summer of 1977, tossed a handful of Mexican ditch weed seeds behind dad's raspberry bushes, damn things grew over the fence by August

BTW the plants were started too late thus never mature, but we smoked the leaves anyhow, what can I say, we were dumb kids

one dwc/three hempy, topped Critical Kush 400w 8 week veg , 8 ounces, had a few probs and not much of a clue prob chopped too early tooSAM_2696.jpg
 
Auto blue pyramid x 2 I grew them outside and got about 1.5oz a plant. After that I fell in love with gardening.
