im lookin to dbl my harvest from last year, i received 3 lbs off 8 plants with limited time experience and resources, 100% MG soil and nutes, plan to go all organic this year and know alot more, wel see what hapens

I have have had 50% of my girls taken over the last 10 years and I did not grow outdoors the last 2.

Should be an anonymous poll: You stumble across a plot one day, and noone's around. What do you do?

It's fine here on a forum to say, "nup.. no way, It's not mine and I won't touch the plant(s)!!!" .. but really.. if you're out on a picnic, and go into the bushes for a piss and find a plant or several, would you REALLY leave it and go back to your picnic empty-handed?

Personally, whilst I wouldn't rip the plant up (I hate even ripping-up my own vegetable plants, there's just no going back once you've up-rooted the suckers) I would certainly have a good look at it, and I'd probably tax more than if it were my own plant, but I'd leave at least half the plant/buds still on the plant.

I'm not talking about looking for plants either here: I know everyone hates a plant-thief, but I'm talking about the accidental stumbling onto of a plant, I reakon 80% (minimum) would tax SOME of the plant.

I've actually just had a plant start flowering, but my housemate's numbshit Son is visiting in around a month.

Anyone think it'll be ready by then? Or, ready enough so I'd not be missing out on TOO much .. Only time will tell I guess. She's assured me that her Son won't care about the plants either way, which makes me fuckn steam-up: The MORE people who know, the MORE chance I have of being ripped or worse - well there's not really worse is there?

I mean really, whether you get the cops knocking on the front door, or theives sneaking round the back: It's curtains for your plants. It's all one in that respect - you come home one day from work, and .. WHERE THE FUCK... F%$KING C$#KSUCKERS!!!!! .. months of work, gone. Now, at least if the cops get you, you get SOME kind of recognition for your plants. Last time I got busted (Some 15 years ago now), the undercover Detectives that arrested me said several times how healthy they were.

So really, though noone wants anything of theirs ripped, at least if the cops nab you, you know what HAPPENED to your plants.

I swear, I'd feel like someone stole my dog, or my kid, if someone broke in and found the girls.

EDIT: I got off topic there a bit, the question was regarding flowering times, and I already know the answer. "Wait and see". 4-6 weeks isn't enough time for most canna's to fully 'ripen', so I'll just have to wait till her Son's about to come visit, then decide whether they look good enough. I assume they'll be still pumping out white hairs in new waves of flower clusters after 4-6 weeks, but oh well.

Well most plants take at least 8 weeks to flower, can you just hide it from him?(I imagine that is out of the question) It would be ashame to have to pull one early... But yes, I know it is easy to say "Oh id never rip a plant" on a forum that despises plant rippers, but it is true. I would never, not after growing for myself and understanding the hard work and dedication it takes. I would be horrified if someone stole mine. Therefore I could never justify stealing from someone else. Besides I don't really need anymore pot as it is lol. I'd probably rather have mine ripped, since I grow on my property dealing with the cops would be much worse. At least a ripper is probably gonna smoke it.

All joking aside we have a plan this season to really incorporate the whole soil food web in our growing, with multiple companion plantings as well as useful and essential natural pest and disease remedies if needed. My veggies will be growing alongside and in the main garden , so far 2 75 x 75 plots for 24 plants each are being planned and developed. We are hoping and going to be working our asses off and Im sure we will enjoy the numbers,but wont count my chickens till they hatch.....good luck and happy growing to you all, this will be a great year for those that put the work in for sure!!!
Oh yeah were shooting for 2 per min. and hoping for 4+, and i know with the methods and work we have planned out it is possible, as I worked last season with 7+ on a friends farm, just fucking awe inspiring, jaw dropping, but very few pics were allowed to be taken but I will download a few and postem up that I was allowed to snap.
