I have read that you should the air should be replaced 3-5 times per minute, but my light will be shielded with glass and also be ventilated, so 1920 cfm sound a lot higher than I would have expected. It also rarely get above 70 degrees where I live, so would 790 cfm or even 590 cfm be enough you think?

8x8x10=640sq ft/ 5 mins=128cfm or 8x8x10=640sq ft/ 3 mins=213cfm. So you're looking at 125-215cfm. Get a 6" appx 400cfm fan and run it at 50%, it'll move air and be quiet.

I have an 8x12x7 room (built and sealed), 8" 440 cfm inake fan on 12/12, then a/c feeds into the 8" intake the other 12/12 during lights on. I have a monster carbon scrubber matted to an 8"720cfm fan at 100% power running 24/7. 3x18" fans blowing hot pocket of air under 3x600w air cooled hoods (2x8" 720cfm fans for 3x600w air cooled hoods). canopy temp is 77*, floor temp is 73*, intake air w/ ac on is 64*, temp out the scrubber is 72*. ambient room temp is 72*-75* year round.
