I continously dump by after vaped bud from my Silver Surfer, or Volcano vaporizer into a jar and am wondering how much of this after vaped material do I need to make a batch of EXTREMELY potent edibles? Also any recommended methods of extracting the rest of cannabanoids for best use in cooking? And finally how is the high of after vape edibles, mellow? Heavy stone?

I've never used vaped weed but just do a solvent extraction or put it in coconut oil(my fav) or butter and just soak a half cup or whatever your recipe calls for until its saturated

Probly will be fairly low in thc and pretty sedating...

I used about an ounce of good vaped bud to 6 ounces of coconut oil. It was all vaped at 375 or so and wasnt burnt popcorn yet. I put about 5 ounces of the oil into my cookies. The recipe was for 24 cookies and would have been about perfect. I like bigger cookies so only made 14. I ate one of the big cookies and was on a productive, but very cerebral/body stone for about 5 hours. Pretty awesome, but I'll be eating a half cookie of that batch.

We've been using our vap leftovers for about a year now to make flapjacks. Nobody is going to be able to give you an accurate answer as it all depends on what you're starting with and if you vaped every last bit out of it. We use about a 1/5 of a jar along with about 1/16th or less of hash (we're just on our first grow and have not had access to nice grass before) to make about 40 pieces of flapjack. We use about an inch square piece for a really good stone that last about 4-6 hours. We put it in a bowl with 125gr of butter over a pan of boiling water for at least an hour, and then use that and about the same amount of butter again to make the flapjacks.

Each time we make them there are a bit different because of all the different hash we use. But they are always very strong.

If I was using good grass leftovers maybe 1/4 to 1/3 jar for about 40 flapjacks?

That's a hard question to answer as it depends on how many times & what temperature you vape your weed, not to mention the quality of the bud you started with. I make cannabutter and then bake cookies / brownies with it. A good ball park number to start with is 3-4 oz. vaped bud to a pound of butter. That's a large amount of vaped bud to save up, so figure a smaller amount using the same proportions. 1 oz. vaped bud to 4 oz. butter (1 cube) or 1/2 oz. (14g) vaped bud to 2 oz. butter (1/2 cube).

Recipes & techniques for making the butter are all over the cooking sub forum here. Lately I've been using the crock pot method, as it's minimal labor. Whatever method you use will really smell though. Be careful if you live in an apartment.

The stone?? Depends on how much you eat / your tolerance, etc. Eating weed generally kicks my ass if I eat enough. Trying to find the line between a nice buzz & comatose is half the fun of making edibles.

Good luck.
