yeah if there paying the bill a fify dollar a month increase and they might thing somethings up or wrong with your a/c and come check the place
Can they figure out where the electricty is coming from, and can they tell increments of usage like when on 12/12???
I need advise please. Great Post by the way!! Good luck to all!!
Ok.. 1000w is cool.. Then how many watts until you're flagged in an apartment? Just out of curiosity.
Most apartments have an electrical room with meters numbered for every suite, that Apt Managers have keys to, and check on.![]()
See how fast that meter is spinning.......![]()
Whatta bout the 12/12 cycle? Do they look at usage and say hmm 12 hours on 12 hours off?? Is there a way to avoid that sorta detection if so...???
. If there are multiple apts on the same meter they cant tell who is using it ( and the more apts the better)
I recently had two seperate notices for 24 hours entry.
1st time was to check the AC and filter, the second time they wanted to replace lighting fixtures.I keep the extra bedroom locked however, and nobody asked for entry.
Dude do you live in the exact same building as me? They literally did the exact same thing here..
They HAVE to give us at least 24 hours notice to enter our apartment, and without their permission they can NOT enter under any circumstances, unless the place is on fire or flooding of course. It's in our lease as well. Thank god for Canada
My AC is also not set on during the wintertime, only our heating system. But they both use the same system, they just can't have both AC and heating switched on all the time. Sept-June our Heating is on, and the other months our AC is on.
