As a potential MMJ patient and Caregiver in CO I am wondering how much space would I need to grow 12 total plants for two of us? would this size be doable in an apartment?

Me again lol, anyhow, are you gonna grow midgets, plants or trees? That is where to base the size of your room. You could do 12 plants in a cupboard, closet or entire bedroom. Yes an apartment could work, but remember that with over 100,000 people on our registry, inspections of rentals is becoming common place. I would recommend getting a wardrobe or something that you can lock and is not their property, then you can refuse for them to search it. Remember though, spill enough water it gets into the apartment below, you get an immediate visit from maintenance or management. I would look into a house, townhouse or very small apartment complex where there is not management or maintenance on site. Just my .02.

I grow in an apartment and I don't have any problems. The owners of my apartment live out of town and outsource their management to another local company. This arraignment is good because we never have maintenance here unless we call them.

Get a feel for the landlord before you move into an apartment, we met quite a few nosy landlords before we settled.

I've had some negative experience with growing in apartments where there is maintenance and management on site. I would rather get a house but they are out of my budget so I'm hoping to get by growing in an apartment. but I agree that a house or townhouse is a better choice. I have a Mothers Keepers Grow Tent from htgsupply.com that holds a few small plants but the harvest wasn't that great (or I'm just to new to growing). So I'm just researching so I know what I'm getting myself into. I plan on becoming a very dedicated MMJ patient once I get up there because I would hate to go back to living under prohibition. I appreciate any help or info.

Peace Trueno

You got the best deal with having the owners live out of town. I have never been to the Denver area so I am guessing that I will half to take a place over the internet. Theres gotta be some rentals with very short leases up there. That would be ideal so I could settle in and then get a feel for a future landlord before I sing a long year lease.
