the max number of plants i would grow is 4-6 plants, Anymore would be taking away from the plants. Generally, you should try to shoot for 5000 lumens/sq. ft

it is not a question of lumens per sq ft, since you have a set amount of light. the question is how big will they be. if they are short ass sea of green, then you can fit maybe 25 or so.taller and you will need to cut back on how many. if the plants all see a good amount of light then you are fine. i have seen 45 under one 1000w light and they turned out great

ya dude, you're contradicting your own advise.. if what you say is true, he'd be able to grow 19 plants.

As a G once told me, you want 50watts per square foot, minimum, to get good solid nug

12 plants bro

16 is a good number in 2 gal pots.if you flower an indica at 10 to 12 inches.
ok, but how many grams per plant can carry 12 inches big bud super skunk if all the other important things are OK

maybe i get better results with 25 inches and less plants (10) , or is it totally waste of time, difference are not so big and waiting plants to grow is time and money??

ive found i can get from 16 what i get from thirty, the end result is i can get a pound off of a 600,its up to you how you want to grow them,i prefer less plants because i dont have a back anymore it is kept together by rods screws and crazy glue, hence the reason im growing, ive actually read in the jorge grow book that to many plants will diminish your returns, but how long you want to veg also comes into the eqation,so many ways to get to the same place at the end.

hm well sea of green is best when u have lights that cover more surface area but don't penetrate very deep into the canopy. Like flouroescents or a few 250W HPS. A really good reflector can solve this problem but then the light has to be further away.

I think your results would be much better if you got a Cool tube on that light so you could get it nice and close and just blast them with lights. Lights loose intensity with each inch. Its more efficient to concentrate your power on a smaller area.

I would set up 6 plants in 5 gallon buckets and let them get pretty big but top them a lot. ESPECIALLY if youre using a big bud hybrid this SOG shit won't let your ladies reach their potential. If you keep the light real close and have your shit well ventilated you will get some monstrous buds. trust me when your hanging ounce and half ounce buds youll be glad you didn't set up a pussy SOG grow.
