4 plants per sqft minus one or two for tray fittings. 6" square pots & hydroton. Done really well with a compatible strain, in 60 days one can get 20 grams per plant with no veg using a 1kW over a 4x4 with CO2 & 48 clones, in a 7x7-1 grid. Many strains still end up 3' tall and you should lollipop at 20 days to put all the yield in the top colas. Trellis supports these logs on a pole. I've consistently done 950 grams in 60 days in a 4x8 with 2kW.
So it can be done and magic crap to dump in your nutrients is not required. Just need good RO water & GH 3 Part.
