How many plants can be supported with about 200w?

Hey guys! I'm juuuuust about ready to start my first grow. I plan on starting with Big Bud specifically because its a high yielder. I'm going to use CFLs for the whole grow. Also buying a DR80 grow tent. They seem to have some heat issues but I'm sure I can make it work. My original idea was to only plant two plants, but I'd like to have 3-4 in there. Will I have enough space for 4? I would tremendously appreciate some help here cause this is my last obstacle before smoking some homegrown KILLER!

that should be good for veg.,if they don't get too big...For flower you'll want at least 4-600 of cfls. They don't get as hot as hid's,so should be ok I'm thinking, just don't break the bulbs.

hey man congrats on your first grow i'm currently on my first serious grow!
I am using 200+ watts of 2700k cfl on 1 bush and its working great for flowering, more then enough but the more light the better as long as its not an heat issue!!
a minimum of 100watts of cfl for 1plant then add a minimum of 50 watts per extra plant is a good minimum guideline but like i said the more light the better!!
good luck.. my guess is 3 plants with 200watts true wattage cfl not incandescent equivalent!!

Well, first off, thanks guys. I wasn't expecting a fast reply! So I guess the my remaining question would be, can I still have the 4 plants in there if I get more light? Or is it just too cramped? I would really like that extra yield lol

i would say you could fit 4, just try and use a minimum of 250 watts of cfl wattage and keep the lights close to the plants like 3 inches away just be careful they don't touch the bulb.. keep us posted i am subcribed to this post start a grow journel if you want im gonna start mine soon when i start a new batch lol!!
