How many plants (2x3 closet) 400hps

how many fem plants should i put in my 3x2 closet under a 400hps to maximize yield? I was thinking maybe
24 plants in 6" pots
12 plants in 8" pots
6 plants in 12" pots
which of the 3 will have the best yield?
heres a list of the strains i have to choose from
white widow x7
big bang x7
alaskan ice x5
lemon skunk x5
train wreck x5
el nino x2
himalaya gold x2
cheese x2
ill probably try and get in as many different strains as possible

It has less to do with container size rather than it does the strain, how heavy you feed them, how branchy they are, are and how far apart you put them. The closer you put the containers together the less light penetration that you get and the less bud as well...

How many would you put in a 3x2 closet to maximize the yield?

Winner.....easy to grow....good sog plant.....potent, tasty, stinky......a trifecta......

ill probably try and get in as many different strains as possible

Aaaaaa......just go with a winner like the lemon skunk......some of your other choices will have radically different flowering times and in some cases a much lower yield per square meter.......or .66 sq. meter as the case may be

Get a couple other strains so you can change up down the road if you want.....but trust me you won't be disappointed with a skunk cross....

ive heard the lemon skunk from greenhouse is sapposed to be insane, but it sall depends on the way u treat them, so the choice is really up to you, which one do u like the taste of the most?

If grown as a SoG we will be focusing light on the top colas only so light penetration and lower branching is not an issue......lower third of plant is pruned up in week 1 and 3 to reduce flower production below top cola

also how many plants would i want to put in if i wanted them to develop the "natural way" I would also tie them down of course to let the light in on the sides of the colas and lower buds

You said max yield, right? You don't want to grow bushes or trees under a 400w lamp....trust me.....8-10" clones is the way to go.

thanks for the advice old in the way. I think ive seen yea around here before a couple times. Yes ive just done some reading and its probably a bad idea to mix multiple strains. Realy sucks because i have 9 to choose from! I was realy liking the idea of some white widow, but they are awful short. I could tie down the taller plants to keep them the same hieght, or just put the taller one around the outside. Ill figure something out

I have an ezcool hood to keep temps low which is hooked up to a 424 cfm inline fan for ventilation. Veg for about a month and flower around 9

If you mean straight up growing in a 3x2 box then you need to go with a much lower number like 2. How much verticle space do you have? Can you cool your 400w in that small of a space?

I get an ounce to two ounces apeice in half gallon containers, which are 2 liter soda bottles. Make sure that you feed your plants right when the dirt runs out of nutes or youll have issues with what people call being root bound.

Which makes no sense because it has nothing to do with the roots being in too small of a space, that happens because plants dont get enough food.....
space them out 4-8 inches apeice depending on height and have good ventilation and you should be fine.

Shes my hijack 3 weeks into flower....I revegged her after that so shed be a super bushy mom starting out.
