How many more weeks?

So i'm 3 days away from week 6 of flowering with CFL's. Still feeding 1ml BioGrow / 3ml BioBloom / teaspoon of molasses per litre.

How much longer has she got to go? She's sticky as fuck and stinks the house out! If you touch one of the buds, it will stick your fingers together like glue! The majority of the hairs are orange now...so I was thinking maybe like 2 more weeks? Should I start flushing soon?

Yesterday I cut the 2 very lowest branches so she can put all her energy into the bigger buds for the last part of the grow...I quickdried the small popcorn buds / crystaly leaves that were on the branches and smoked it down the pub...it blew our heads off! It was a very mellow taste, but it hits you hard right away. I know it wont be a massive harvest, but it's some proper nice green!

Nah, you need more magnification than you can get from a glass. Pick yourself up a 10 dollar scope from Radio Shack. Best 10 bucks I've ever spent; been using mine for 2 or 3 years now and i don't know how I ever got along without it.

That's OK, they'll sell to anybody. They don't discriminate.

OK, seriously... You might be able to get one from their website. Failing that, I've seen the exact same battery-powered scope on some paraphernalia websites. I just don't remember which ones, but perhaps someone else here does. There's really no substitute for scoping the trichomes. Anything less than 60 or 80X magnification just doesn't give you enough magnification, IMO. A magnifying glass doesn't even come close.

But you know, if you don't have one and can't get one, the next best thing is to smoke it and see how you like the high. Sounds like you've already done that, and liked the results, so what the hell. Chop 'er!

Yeah I did like the results! I think I'll give her another 9 days. Started flushing today!

Here's a good pic of some trics I took yesterday with my standard digital camera...do they look cloudy to you?

I think it might still be a bit early. My read on it is about 50/50 clear/cloudy. Maybe a bit more clear than cloudy. My first couple grows I jumped the gun and started flushing early and regretted it later. I circled the trics I'm basing my opinion on.

This cluster looks way more clear than cloudy.

Yeah you're right. I'll have another look in 9 days when I plan on cutting her down! Is it just me or are there a few little amber trics in there too?

I don't really want a couchlock type high, I'm more into the spacey head high...hopefully they are more cloudy by cutdown time.
 
Great! I wish you guys could smell it...it has a very pungent sweet odour, almost like it's been coated in sugar. Must have been all of that Molasses!

Not bad for a first grow. :)
