depends how big they are, i usually veg 2 for about a month depending on the size then flower
Ok, how much space are you working with? My buddy uses 125w CFLS, he has 4 of them in his flower (he uses t5s to veg). It's a 2'x3' area, so I am really just curious.

He just started, and we're both noobs. Not sure what he should expect or if he needs more lights for the area he's working with.

my veg is about 1X1 with white shiny reflective walls n the lights are always around an inch away with reflectors n flower room is about 1X2, i use 11 to 12ltr pots with 70% soil n 30% perlite it seems to do the trick

That's a lot of light for 1x2 (seems to me anyways). I'm sure you get good results though!

iv flowered with just one 125w cfl b4, my 1st plant was a 4 to 5ft unknown bag seed sativa haze looking plant i used a 45w most the way then put another 45w in last 3 to 4 weeks n got around 2oz but it took about 5 n half months lol the more cfls the better n they got to be as close as you can get them to the plant

I'm working with some bullshit bagseed sativa for my first grow too (got a 600w hps, for flower, use CFLs/t5 for veg). I'm going on 3 months total and it looks like I've got another 2 months. I had 2 but I got rid of one so i could make some space for some northern lights I have.

I'd be happy to get 2 ozs off each of the 2 bagseeds I kept, even if it does take 5+ months.

go for the indica or indica dominant strains there better i reckon n do not over water, the leaves will droop down when they need it

my only broblem with bigger bulbs is my cash situation is tight a few grows in bigger bulbs/cab and an overall better set up will be a priority but basically its lookin like in a 3x2 i need to be running about 500 watts worth of cfl does that sound right? less for vegging. im gonna be running three plants hopefully 2 if the space doesnt allow. does anyone have any suggestions on how to run 9 socket bodies to one or two plugs ? especially cause im gonna need to be able to adjust their height.

You could use some vanity fixtures, like these. (I've seen them for cheaper, but they're pretty cheap). You have to wire them up, but it's easy, just a ground, positive, negative.

i think those vanity bulbs are wat im gonna have to got with because any other way ive thought to set it up with enough bulbs is gonna be a serious fire hazard.
