Yes weve already covered the fact that 9 plants is a perfect 3x3 square. What i meant was why run 3 or 5 plants when you can run 4 or 6.@Alienwidow
9 plants, 30-48gr producing Auto's in a 2x2. Their in plant warrior #1's. I have a former patient that does that with Sugar Mango Ryder (World of seeds) Auto's and his average yield is around 390gr with a 250w....Nice numbers really!
I suggested this exact thing to some one else with a 2x2 area and wanting max output...
You should have seen how big those heads got. I run co2 though also. And i grow them for height because of the high ceilingsThey sprouted on 10/17 switched to flower on 1/6. So about the same. Damn. I must have some short phenos
I would definitely do even numbers in a 2x2, lol. I think most of the time I stick to 4/8/12/ or 16 plants. The only time I really ever do odds is in a 3x3 or 5x5. I just ran 12 in my 3x3 ended up keeping 6.@Alienwidow

The thing is that the Plant warrior pots will fit 9 in a 2x2 and the Short Auto fills the area like a carpet at late bloom - just what a good SOG should be......I would definitely do even numbers in a 2x2, lol. I like to think 1 or two plants per foot depending on how long you want to veg.

dam...what strains?Never done a 5x5.
3x3 best harvest 1.8(600hps)
3x4 (sunhut 2x4) best 2.6(600hps)
4x4 best 3.9(1k hps edit this run may have been with a dual hood with a 400w mh and 600w hps)
4x8 best 10(not as great as it sounds was running 2600 watts, 2 x 1k and 1 X 600)
Then I've done a couple rooms with rows of 5x20 that averaged about 3-4.5 per 5 X 5(occasionally would pull 5s)
