Completely depends on the strain. I'm guessing you're new to the game, so I recommend you try reading a few grow guides at the top of the page. Basically the plants veg (grow in size) until the light patterns change to 12/12 (12 Hours of sunlight, 12 hours of no sunlight). Once the plants are exposed to the 12/12 light schedule (September-ish) they start flowering (Produce Buds). Different strains have different flowering times, so you'll have to find a strain that's suitable to grow in your area. Your aim is to harvest just before the first frost.
Cheers and goodluck!
what strains grow well outdoors in the uk? i have white rhino and was thinking of putting 15 2ft tall clones outdoors in march, i have a sweet spot for them. would the uk's climate be okay for them?
In Canada, the first frost hits in October, and plants start to flower in August, so I aim to buy something that flowers in 6 to 8 weeks. If you look on a seedbank website, it'll tell you how long that strain takes to flower.
hey chris welcome. march is too early. the ideal time in the uk is 2nd week of may. that is when the last frost has gone. as u may know last year september was a really wet month so u want it to finish in october. best strain i know so far for this is afghan kush x skunk by world of seeds. no problems with mold what so ever, a nice vigrant, robust plant and nice smoke.
