How long?

What up yall, waiting on my first harvest don’t wanna rush it, in my completely unprofessional opinion I think got like 2-3 weeks?
Still a decent amount of white hairs as well. 2 different strains in the photos both very indica dom

2 diff strains 2 plants on each side

Well damn! That looks nice! What strains? Where'd you get them? Nice setup! That'll be a very nice first harvest. I couldn't have even thought of something that nice when I got my first harvest.

To the point, I see quite a few white hairs. Looks at least 2 weeks out.

Seeds are Exotic genetix, project z(zkittles x runtz) and greasy runtz( grease monkey x runtz)
I’m a bit of a perfectionist so went way overboard with reading before setting up hahaha so far turning out a lot better then planned thank you guys so much!

Just remember that growing is the easy part, what you really want to perfect is drying and curing.

@Billytheluther @Tracker im growing in coco with maxi bloom(7g per gallon down to 5.5 atm) I’ve slowly started lowering the amount I’m feeding cause I’ve read to tapper off, my question is should I taper to like half/qtr strength(3.5/1.75g per gallon) for the last week/2 then no maxi bloom for the last 3 days and just ph water? I’ve read so many conflicting ways to end the plants. I just know you want it to fade or something.

One thing I know I’ll be doing is 2 days darkness before harvesting when they’re done unless you guys think that’s useless hahaha

Good job so far! There's a lot of differing opinions on dark cycle there is some data out there that shows promise but nothing scientifically verified that I've seen yet. That being said I'm sure whether you decide to do 48 hours of darkness or not you will still be happy with the outcome, many people do it and they are happy.The people who don't are happy also. Have fun with the learning process and again great job

Disclaimer: I've never grown in coco.

I have grown in hydro LP aero and nft, and in soil. With either method, I've never done a flush at the end of the flower cycle. I do do reduce strength of feed mix by the last two weeks of flower. You will see that the plants are uptaking significantly less water/feed by the end. I dont like to flush and starve the plants at the end, but they definitely dont need as string of feed as compared to the early and mid flower.

I've never tried the extended dark period before harvest. Like @Tvanmunhen said, some people do, some don't....whatever makes you feel good. That said, I have read a lot about the terpenes being highest at the end of the dark period. Terps accumulate during dark period. They are volatile. They evaporate off at relatively low temps. So I do believe in harvest at the end of dark period.

My last grow was in Coco it was a lot of fun. I'm not vast in knowledge or experience but I can tell you I just tapered down on my feed until harvest. I did not flush and had no issues with chemicals or harshness. Once I gave my buds a good cure they were delicious!

I havent grown in coco either, only hydro and soil.
i messed up 2 plants on my last run by reducing the nutrients too much and too soon, they never seemed to mature like they froze in time.
