How long would i have to veg to get the full bennefit of a 30 gallon soil grow?

I was scared to defoliate too much and scared to cut off middle branches. You expertly pulled off what I botched, any protips?

Oh I was just showing off @Northwood s grow, I am barely into flower on what seems like a successful run myself but only in 7 gal. I too defoliated below the canopy and have been removing branches and what I have deemed suckers as well. For me I wait and watch. If all the branches in an area are quickly outstretching a smaller branch, I remove the smaller branch, etc.

I just updated my grow journal, and have my eyes on eventually growing in one large radicle bag but for now I like to watch these huge indoor plants grow!

I will check out your journal and will have to do my own on the next grow.
That sounds exactly like what I do, if one branch is clearly inferior to the ones around it then it gets the snip, and giant leaves that are covering potential top cola branches trying to grow get the snip from the top,
then anything else that starts to willow goes too.
Looking forward to seeing how your 7gal grows go, that is the size I am leaning towards switching to.
