How Long will it Take to Bud?

What do you guys think is an average time it will take for this plant to bud, here's some info.

It's been in veg stage for about 2 months, about 1 1/2 ft tall.
Yesterday I switched the lighting to 12/12.
Can already tell it's a female plant.
Using 2 2700k CFL's, don't know the exact strain.
The bud I got the seed's from was called popcorn, but coming from past experience you never know :-?
I think it's indica dominant as the leaves are pretty broad.

Any ideas? :peace:

without knowing the strain its impossible to know what kinda flowering time you will need . give it a good 50-60 days. then post some pics. do some research on trichrome development . you should be able to find everything you need here on this site includeing pics for examples as you may need something to compare your own plants too . best of luck FraiserB1azE

well if we could see what it looks like we could posssibly decifer if its a sativa or indica, then you would have a good idea of whethers its gonna be 7-9 weeks or 10-14 weeks.

but nope we have no clue and neither does dude

Sorry for the blurry pics, had to do this from my Iphone.

Also, since I still have a good while before it buds anyways, anyone know a good technique to let light penetrate to lower leaves? The top leaves on my plant have always blocked light from getting down there.

your only using 2 cfls? not sure what your set up is like but cfls have to be very close to be able to get suficent light to not only grow but thrive . my suggestion would be to geta couple lights closer to the lower part of your plant .
however if thats not possible you can always L.S.T. (low stress train)**tie down ..weigh down ..your main top** that will allow more light to get at more of your plant . you can find all the info on LSTing somewhere here on the site

Yeah I'll be buying some more lights when I get my next paycheck, I've just been having a hard time finding cheap plant lights or even cheap lamps that I could put it around it.

pics look great but you can you get a side view so we can see the spacing between the nodes.

a sativa dominant is gonna be alot farther between nodes (but so can a male plant)

a indica dominant is gonna be a lot closer between each node

leaves look exactly like my nebula. Id say between 9 and 10 weeks to your liking. Deff a mostly sativa hybrid strain. Once you see pistils, let her go for at least 9 and make sure to check the trichomes starting at week 7-8ish to see how fast they change.

Agree. Looks sativa dominant to me. That node spacing on a thin stem is only going to cause you problems when flowering. Get the lights closer (or more powerful) if possible.

CFLs can flower as long as 12 weeks, especially if only 2 are being used. Make sure you let those babies go the distance, looking great!

Thanks, its definently not as good as some of the pictures I've seen on here, but it's the first plant I've gotten to the flowering stage so im excited about it
