this is what happens when the panhandling runs dry.....
they should lock the doors and admit those who can prove they can pay- desperate time call for desperate measures..if that sounds odd, think about what you just saw..that's fvcking bold.

essential sales only; no browsing.

Looks like no one will be getting their checks any time soon...What is plan b for when people can't buy food and the food banks are out?

they are going off 2018 tax filers as recipients so here's the skinny on 2018:

The average tax return. As of Dec. 27, 2019, the IRS had received 155.8 million tax returns for the 2018 tax year and of those, 138.2 million were filed electronically.Feb 5, 2020

considering there are 330M Americans- this falls a skosh short.

they're using catch phrases like 'hard working' and 'most' Americans..how about FVCKING ALL!!!!!!!!!!

Don't forget that many families file joint returns. I have a family of four, but we just file one return.

i don't advise it..pepper spray gel gets into every mucous membrane possible in mere seconds; you take a step and can't breathe wishing you were dead; definitely a trip to the ER.

Schuylaar saw it in action better than any gun ever..because they get to live for police to charge them, plus there's the payback angle. Guarantee you they'll never do it again:wink:

If they really wanted all peoples to have it, they send it to those with a Social Security Number. They said every adult and every child but that seems to have changed.

by the way, where are all the housing-insecure going?

How do you send a check to a child, do you expect them to have a bank account to deposit it in?

What I'd like to know is why do kids get less than adults? Anyone who's ever tried raising a kid knows they aren't cheap!

As far as the housing-insecure, my understanding is that states are purchasing hotels and converting them. That's here in California though, not sure about elsewhere:

I guess you could offer up some of your several gated-community homes.

Since I made this thread the stimulus went up to $1200. How long until the food banks run out and hungry people get desperate?

That's irrelevant. Trump himself has even said publicly that he will not adhere to the oversight rules for corporation handouts and has also said he wants his signature on each cheque. This is a political buy, not a socialistic and logical approach to keeping things stable. Corporations and wealthy people win here. The secrets are in the stimulus documentation.

Never forget that.

Is this the event that will almost eliminate the middle class? Where there will be a much wider divide between the rich and the poor?
