how long to sprout after germination?

Popping some new seeds. After the tap root emerged, I planted them into my presoaked rockwool cube. All is well on them, but 2 of the seeds haven't emerged from the cube yet. How long before I worry about these 2? All the others popped out within 24 hours.

They can take a few days. I'm in that situation now myself, had tap root, transferred to hydroton, waiting... The root is growing, ever so slowly.

right on thanks for the reply. Amazing the different rates these things happen. I had 1 seen germinating and it popped out of the seed shell and the tap root was already almost an inch. Was a bitch to plant that one.

I use 2" Grodan rockwool cubes, soak in RO water pH'd at 5.0. Seeds already have all they need to sprout nutrient wise so I just use plain water. I drop the seed with the butt of the seed pointing up into the premade hole. I put in in about 2x it's length in the hole. Gently close the hole up a little but not all the way and in 3-4 days I have a sprout. I believe good seeds are a big factor as well.
