How long to harvest?

Yup -- long way to go! Looking lovely, though. I think you'll be another 3-4 weeks. Some people say you shouldn't start counting the days from flip, but count the days from when pistils start coming in, which is usually 7-10 days from flip. So technically you'd be around Day 50. But even then I'd say you have another 3-4 weeks.

Yep-- they are right-on 100%!

12/12 is not when you start the count hun... you start the count after they have been in long enough that they have actually started to bud... that is week 1. Every strain is different-- we need to know what they are to know the APPROXIMATE days to harvest-- but many things effect that- it is a guideline.. you need to start checking the crystals (trichomes) under a magnifier to see if they are headed-up and cloudy.

All that said-- they are looking really good! I'd say about week 5-6???? and most go 8+ ;)

Breeders stated flower times are complete bullshit to the real world grower. They are what you can expect from the perfect pheno under perfect conditions.

As the buds mature they draw nutrients/sugar from the leaves...so it's natural for the leaves to yellow and dry up.

My main colas have no fan leaves left (all dried and dead), but the lower unripened parts still have lots of green.

Have fun.

I'n not one to talk about yellow leaves....nitrogen deficiency perhaps. A lot of bloom products don't have N

Do you have a decent magnifier hun? Doesn't have to be fancy- heck- my fave is still my $10 Radio-Shack "Self-lighting hand-held microscope"... just pop-off a sugar leaf from a bud, and check the crystals... should look like a lollipop- or a ball (depends on the strain- some have long stalks, some hardly any!)

If they are all cloudy topped with a ball- no spikes or fingers- and look cloudy- it's time to flush. If some are starting to go amber- its PAST time to flush- but you can emergency flush (pm me for more if interested)... if they are mostly clear, a few cloudy, and a few that are still fingers/spikes- you have a week or two to go.

The color is normal for near harvest-- it's what happens in the fall- they use-up their stored nutrients and stop producing chlorophyll... They'll be ready soon!

;) Good luck! Glad you are so patient!!!

hey all again, so i have another problem, i bought a magnifier and check the trichs on the sugar leaf and are mostly cloudy and some ambers but the problem is that my girl is falling to the sides, i dont know that is because the weight of the buds or something worst is happening. last night when i openned the tent she was bend to the side then i tied her in the tent, today when i checked her again she bended to the other side and i tied her again. i think that i have to chop her, but this week was supposed to be the flush time. what should i do, chop her without flush or flush her in that condition? thanks

You don't check the trichomes on the leaves. You check them on the flowers. Trichome leaves will mature faster than flower trichomes. I think you're being impatient. Why waste all this time if you're going to chop her down before time? In any case don't flush, flushing is stupid and useless.
