How long to go??

Starting week 11

Its my first grow, and i dont want to leave them too late.

Looking around here though i think they have another week, maybe 2..??

How does their progress look?

Hmmm, just looking at the hairs, I'd say they have some time. What lights are you using? I am not familiar with this strain, what do "they" say as far as flowering time? I know it isn't set in stone but gives a ref. point.


Wait, 12/12 from seed, nevermind that last part. Just looking at them, I'd say they gots some time. You could always post in the 12/12 from seed thread and hope that the great god of 12/12, Del666, chimes in with his wisdom!

They are looking good, give atleast another week if not more.

Im using a 400w dual spec hps.

They say 8 to 10 week flower but that it finishes very fast.

It was actually reading a lot of Del666's stuff that made me decide to go for 12/12 from seed.

I'll post in the 12/12 thread and watch the plants closely over the next weeks or 2.

Invest in a loop or microscope from radio shack . It costs between 5- and 12 dollare respective for these . Then you can look at the tri-chromes and see their color . It ranges between clear and amber with a milky color in between . Most pick when most tri-chromes are amber . I would say maybe another 3 weeks .

I grow THC Bomb as well from Marijuana-seeds.nl. Mine always finish at almost exactly 9 weeks. I examine with a 20 dollar microscope I got from Radio Shack. When the trichomes are 80% amber I cut em. Yours look good. Can we see the rest?

i would say you got about 3-4 weeks til harvest. when you grow 12/12 from seed, you dont start counting flowering time til you see flowers. how long has that been 5-6 weeks?

Cheers for the info, i got a little 30x magnifying glass but i cant see enough detail.
So i'll invest in a microscope.

I'll post up more pics soon.. my sister is borrowing my camera.

Yeah your about right, i would say 5 weeks or so.

Just lots of people saying to pick when the hairs turn brown and there is a few starting to go so thought to be better safe than sorry!

There is a lot of.repetition of ideas not based in actual practise. That does not necessarily mean the info is wrong, just incomplete most often. Keep.posting.pics and I can help you see when you should harvest.

Yeha i've noticed a lot of different opinions on grow methods and i was a long time choosing my methods of growing due to this.

I guess more than anything, its experience that really matters in the end.

Agree you have atleast 3 weeks before i would even worry abnout choppin throw that breeders pack away and go by what the plant is tellin you and that thing has alot of swelling to do

When i flowered from seed a long time ago, it always took 10-17 days from sprouting until I noticed a single hair on any strain.

I say about 4-5 weeks you will definately be able to tell when its done it will just look ready......
