how long to get card in mail?

I believe the end of April, I've just been nervous about the entire process. It took a lot for me to go into the Dr. Because I didn't know what to expect and everyone in there had a caregiver with them, I did not. I actually tried to get an appointment with a regular Dr before I went to the clinic, they asked why I wanted to be seen, I told them about my back and she put me on hold for 5 minutes, came back and told me I wouldn't be receiving any pain meds, I said sorry I can't take anything stronger than motrin, I'm not looking for that!, she then gave me an appointment 2 1/ 2 weeks in advance! I let them call me for a reminder the day before my appointment and told them I wouldn't be coming in because the wait was too long and had already seen a holistic Dr! Lol. I refuse to be treated like some kind of addict over the phone smh.

Wow my experience was the opposite. My doc was trying to throw pills at me after I had explained I had a past substance abuse problem, didn't want pills and had had friends who had died from narcotic overdose...Needless to say I got a new doc. Well that's shitty you had to go through that, but glad to hear it worked out.

Yeah it was embarrassing, I've actually been under this Dr for years because my insurance suggested it but I've never gone in. You can bet I will be changing that soon. I know many people who have suffered with the addiction as well and things haven't been easy for them, I'm sorry to hear you have had trouble as well. Glad we both found better doctors lol!

They just want your money mri is 1500 bucks.

I hear you! And then they would probably tell you that can't do anything for you anyway! I hate pain meds. I just wonder what these drs get paid for sometimes
