How long should the pump be on in an aquafarm system?

Hi, I am new to growing cannabis, trying to set up an aquafarm system but i don't know how long the water should be on and off, any advice would be greatful.

Are you talking about the system that is cycled with a fish. Tank?

No, it is a dutch bucket drip system.
