How long should i veg for in 5 gallon pots?

Budget 1 gallon per month is good, 5 months = 5 gallons,
this is assuming 3 months veg and 2 months bud,
or the visa versa should you have a dominant sativa strain mix in there!
 
based on the photos I'd say a couple to a few more weeks if you have the time, but what vostok said is a good rule of thumb.

If they were mine I'd probably clone or remove the lowest two or three branches, bend the top over, top the remaining branches, and let them recover for a couple weeks, give some flower nutes once your toppings have grown out, and flip them 3-4 weeks from now.

It's a miracle anyone has the time to grow in 200 gallon pots! :bigjoint:
 
Kiddie swim pools are better, germing the seeds in mid winter and allowing a full 6 month veg time creates some high yielding plants,
bulk fed on organic strange foods too!
Just one plant? You could veg it for years.

Assuming you have the space for that size of plant. You def cant go by that as a rule
