Got a drying delema, got some plants that will be ready to harvest in a couple days, my problem is I am going out of town for 4 days 9 days after I chop em down, my question is will they be ok hanging to dry for 2 weeks or should i try and jar them before I leave ? Im afraid i may risk mold if i jar them as i cant be here to burp them ?? any recomendations ?

Well it deppends on how dry they are when you jar them. If the stem snaps when you jar it you should be fine! It also deppends on the temps of your drying room. I dry mine for about a week "deppending on what the tems are in my room" and then I jar them when the stem is still a lil spongy but I burp them once a day, or if I jar them for a day and check it I may just dump it all out on a tray and have a fan blowing on it for a few hours. But if you have 9 days of hanging time then you should be fine if the stem snaps. And it is only for 4 days so you should be fine brotha!

if you did not trim and left them plant fully intact chopped and hung it to dry depending on the humidity you should be ok, that will slow the drying time

whatever u do don't jar them before u leave...u will have mold when u get back....let them dry...if u come back and it's to dry, throw an orange peel or apple peel any kind of fruit peel with the bud in a jar. close and it rewets the buds, then take out peels and burp as necessary.
