How long does it take to see flowers?

This was my first grow, but I'm wanting to say that it was between 10-14 days before I was able to tell sex for certain. Definately get an 8x loupe, or one of those "magni-visors". A 3x magnifying glass just didn't cut it for me.
The pre-flowers start out REALLY tiny.

That would be a hard question to answer. The big factor would be what strain would it be. Some strains just flower faster than others.

Mature enough to flower meaning 4 0r 5 sets of true leaves? I thought 4 nodes was the mark?

I wait for alternating nodes my self. Then it is mature enough to flower.
