How long do you veg?

Want to hear what some of you experienced growers consider a good veg time? Also, when people post pictures and it claims, for example, "day 36 flowering" does that typically indicate 36 days total into the process or 36 days after vegging stopped and they started flowering? Thanks.

its all up to you man.it depends on how patient you are, how big you want your plants to be, how much space you have ect. remember that plants more than double in size when they go into 12/12

36 days of flowering would presumably mean 36 days after vegging stopped

day 36 flowering means they changed the light to 12/12
36 days earlier. i like to veg my plants for at least 3 months from seed.changes take place in the plant that make it mature enough to support flowering after 3 months.

from clones its a little different the clones are just an extension of the plant you just waited 3-5 months for, so the cuttings are already that old and are ready to flower as soon as roots set. some people put clones right into 12/12.
I personaly wait a month or two until the clone gets to the size that fits my flowering room then i put them in 12/12

People start flowering at all different times. Basically get your plants where they can grow 3x as much when you start to flower. EX- 1 foot plant should be about 3 when done flowering. Try the 36hr dark period before starting 12/12. It helps immensely.

Yeah, I think he's advising doing 36 dark just before going 12/12. Reports of faster budding ensue. Some do more, some less. I've never tried it, but will.

I have veg my babes for 47 days, and i start the 12/12 last week and i see the get more strong every day, now i have 13 inches, my best one!!! How long you can let the veg more is better for the size and how many flowers your babe can make for you.!!!
