depends on how you store them.
keep them cool and dry and you should have viable spores for 3 months or longer.

Ditto to the above. Make sure whatever container you put them in is light-tight. They need to be stored in absolute darkness. At room temperature, they'll last anywhere from a few weeks to a few months. When put in the fridge (not the freezer) they can potentially stay viable for almost a year if you make sure you take all of the precautions.

One has stored spore syringes in total darkness at room temperature for approximately one year and they were still viable. They weren't as quick to colonize as they could have been, but they did the job.

ok so this is a bunch of misinformation...
i assume youru talking about psilocybin mushroom spores.
you can store spores in the fridge for as long as you want and they don't need to be in a light proof container. don't buy syringes, buy prints and an inoculation loop. use agar cultures to create and isolate a rizomorphic strain (you will need a glove box, which is very easy to make)... do some reasearch on this, you will not regret it, you can also store a isolated strain in what they call slants, which you can make and store for indefinate amounts of time in the fridge... go to "the shroomery" it's a great fourum with lots of great people.
