About the only real way to tell by sight. Knowing the strain gives info on how long it "normally" takes to get to maturity, however even knowing that a person really should eyeball it with magnification that gives a clear showing of how it's coming along.

I know this is the hardest part to be this close and have every one tell you to wait but trust me it's worth it, you have come this far don't settle now. 3 to 4 more weeks

Hey, make sure that AT LEAST 50% of the white pistils have turned dark/red before you harvest. Ideally, one would invest in a digital microscope ($30, at a minimum) to examine trichomes.

No sweat... The only way you can screw it up by going too long is if you let it go till the amber trichomes start turning back to clear - then you will get less potent herb.

You have about 4-6 weeks until its ripe.

If ou wait past 50/50 trich colorization your buds wont like....fall off mostly kust varied effects depending on trich colorization. If you like it when it smokes, then you cut it at the right time, for YOU.
