Joints were bigger in my "old days" bc ...we were usually smoking with more than one other person...brick weed...tolerance was high bc we smoked so much...and the shit was cheap

Quality smoke was rare when I was a kid...I think we called it kind bud...or dro...but never really knew wtf it was...I just remember it costing 50$ an eighth when I could get ozs of brick pot for 80 an oz or 500 a lb

Id say depends on a few things how stable the genetics are to begin with and good general practice and plant care also sun helps rejuvenate tired clones theres also tissue cuture now as well theres still clones out there older than 30 that still pretty good so who knows like say cheese or romulan for example
